The programming can be so great in the mind of worshipers that an object of worship or their priest can literally demand that the worshiper become food or a burnt sacrifice. Worship is a powerful tool of brainwash and mental programming that can override reasoning and the intrinsic desire to become a loosuncaptured legal minded being that fallow perfect Law instead of worship laws that can be just about anything that the object of worship or their priest demand.
